First Things First
When you get engaged or are planning to get married, there is so much to think about and so many decisions to make.
I can help and advise you with all aspects of planning your wedding but, before we meet for your free, initial consultation, have a think about ‘the basics’.
In particular:
- How: Whether you want a church wedding, civil ceremony or civil partnership, I can arrange it all for you.
- Where: Decide on the geographic location. With so many wonderful venues in North Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, I will be able to help you find the perfect wedding venue for your ceremony and reception.
- When: Are you flexible about the day and time of year? You may have budget restrictions; usually high summer and Saturday weddings are more expensive.
- Who: Will your numbers be constrained by budget or how many guests the wedding venue is able to accommodate. Do you have to consider close family wishes, particularly if they are paying for some of the wedding?
- Budget: How much are you able to afford and how much will others contribute? I will help you manage your budget and get best value for money for you.
As an approximation, allow:
- 50% wedding reception (including food and drink)
- 15% wedding outfits - wedding dress, bridesmaids, groom, best man and ushers.
- 10% Photography
- 10% Flowers
- 5% Entertainment
- 10% Everything else - such as stationery, gifts, marriage fees, transport.
This doesn’t include the honeymoon. So easily forgotten, I can help you find the dream location, remind you about any visas, inoculations, etc.
What I Can Do For You
I’ll tailor your package to meet your exact requirements and the cost will reflect how much involvement you wish to me to have. If you choose an all-inclusive package, this is an example of what I’d do for you.

- Recommend venues and suppliers best suited to your taste and budget
- Work closely with you throughout the entire build-up to the big day

The Costs
The cost of my services are largely dependent on your requirements and any packages are highly tailored to suit your individual needs.
Maximum 10% of your total budget and the actual cost to you will be less as I will pass on savings made due to affiliations with the supply chain. Costs will be set at the beginning with no hidden extras guaranteed.
